- RCP/M+: modified by Jon. Users could 'cd' into an archive without first having to extract it. Microsoft Windows wouldn't gain that functionality until years later (open zip files from Windows Explorer)
- many, many, many boxes of disks, filling 2 7 foot tall cupboards and a couple of 3 drawer filing cabinets
- each disk had a volume of software, drivers or libraries from a special-interest user group
- Tesseract users requested volumes that were brought online weekly, ie by me searching the cupboards and filing cabinets and then inserting the disks in to the floppy disk drives attached to the Colex system.
- Sysop'd by Noel Levy and co-sysop'd by Josh Levy for about 18months between 1986 and 1988
- I remember driving out to Dural from Canterbury on a bright, sunny day, amazed that such a rural area was part of Sydney.
